3…2…1… Launch!

Today on Memorial Day, as we pay our respects to those Americans who served and gave their lives for us all, we also remember the proud American Jews who enlisted and fought for our great country. In doing so, we proudly introduce our new, updated CASEPAC.org website through our new blog, The CASE For A Strong Voice.

At CASEPAC, we vow to strengthen our fight against antisemitism by working together with YOU, our readers and supporters.  In the coming months, we will be rolling out our list of federal (and a few state) candidates and elected officials running for office in 2020 that have a proven record of fighting antisemitism.   Every nominee will have gone through a rigorous review, and will need to “pass muster” with our esteemed Board of Directors before they can receive the CASEPAC endorsement.  It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.

What does the future of America look like with no antisemitism? Can you imagine a nation free of hatred toward the Jewish people?  At CASEPAC, we can.  Our goal is to eradicate antisemitism in America through the proper channels of law and education.  We envision Congress and state legislators coming together and passing solid legislation that will act to deter and eradicate Jewish hatred, and as well as to encourage religious tolerance through our public education system.

Right now, antisemitism is rising.  Hatred for American Jews is once again rearing its ugly head,  with unspeakable murders, attacks, and college campus riots.  Just like our American patriots valiantly fought battles to protect our country’s freedom, it is vital that we win the war against antisemitism.  Many Jews served during America’s wars and died to keep our country safe.  Each is a true hero.  Unfortunately, today there are also many Jews dying senseless deaths, for no other reason except for being Jewish.  Although Judaisim brought about their deaths, it has also Judaisim that brought CASEPAC to life.  We are ready for battle, and together, with your support, we will win the fight against antisemitism.

While we can never repay those who made the ultimate sacrifice for America’s freedom, we can still remember and honor their extraordinary gift.  In that spirit, today we will take special note of U.S Army Private Jack Gindi, who as a young father insisted on enlisting in the Army at the outbreak of WWII.  As a Syrian Jewish immigrant, he understood the great  gift of freedom he and his family enjoyed by living in America.  He never took it for granted.  He fought proudly in The 82nd Airborne Paratrooper Division, and  remarkably, he  is also the great-grandfather of CASEPAC’s very own intern, Joseph Jack  Gindi.  Like many thousands of Jews throughout America, Private Gindi served our nation with pride.   We salute you Private Gindi, and we salute all Americans who understand the importance of freedom, tolerance, safety, education, and most of all, happiness.

On behalf of CASEPAC, best wishes to you, your families, and everyone you hold dear on this blessed Memorial Day.
