CASEPAC Calls on New York’s Congressional Delegation to Strip CUNY’s Federal Funding After Hiring of Marc Lamont Hill

(August 30, 2023 – Washington, DC)

CASEPAC, the nation’s only Federal PAC dedicated to combating Antisemitism in Federal Politics is calling on all members of New York’s Congressional Delegation to work together to strip federal funding to CUNY due to their recent hire of renowned anti-Israel professor Marc Lamont Hill. This controversial hiring comes on the heels of a pre-approved graduation speech given by Ms. Fatima Mohammed at CUNY’s School of Law Graduation ceremony where she spread vicious lies about the State of Israel and Zionism.

In 2018, Mr. Hill was fired by CNN after giving an anti-Israel speech at the United Nations where he called on countries to boycott and divest from Israel while also using the same terrorist chant that Hamas, a U.S. designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) has used “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” Mr. Hill knew when he uttered those words that Hamas uses that as their battle cry to call on their terrorist operatives to murder Jews.

“The time is now for Members of Congress to find common ground on this issue and to call on CUNY Chancellor to rescind the hiring of Marc Lamont Hill. If CUNY doesn’t then Congress should be prepared to act in stripping all federal funding that CUNY receives.” said Bryan E. Leib, Executive Director, CASEPAC
